For drafts that work in places but need help with structure, stakes and story arcs.
For authors stuck in the middle, lost in revisions, or unsure the story is working.
For authors happy with the story who want the prose to sing.
For near-final manuscripts that need to be correct and consistent.
The final check after formatting, before your book goes live.
For authors who want a cover that looks right for the genre and pops as a thumbnail.
For a clean, professional interior that uploads without errors.

The sun was setting slowly over the hills as Daniel walked back towards the farmhouse. He was feeling very tired and his feet were hurting him a lot. He thought about what his father had said to him that morning, and he felt angry. He suddenly stopped walking. In the distance, he could see that there was smoke rising up from the barn.
The sun was setting slowly sank over the hills as Daniel walked trudged back towards to the farmhouse. He was feeling very tired and his feet were hurting him a lot., every step a fresh blister. He thought about what his father had said to him that morning, and he felt angry. His father’s words from that morning still burned. He suddenly stopped walking. Then he stopped. In the distance, he could see that there was smoke rising up from the barn. Smoke was rising from the barn.
Repeated words and phrases are counted across the whole manuscript before I mention them.
I separate habits worth trimming from repetition that is deliberate and pays off.
Every report ends with the single change that will lift your book the most.
Chapters 11 to 15 cover two days of story in 22,000 words. Three scenes repeat the same argument between Mara and Jonah without raising the stakes.
Chapters 1–9 are in present tense. Chapter 10 slips into past tense, including the dialogue tags. A clean, one-chapter fix.
Fix this first: merge the three argument scenes into one, and the middle will move at the speed of your opening.
The house stood at the end of the causeway, where the road gave up and the sea began. Mara had not been back in eleven years.
She left the car running for a long time before she turned the key.
1The door stuck, as it always had. Inside, the air tasted of brine and old paper, and somewhere upstairs a window was knocking in its frame.
“Hello?” Her voice sounded smaller than she meant it to.
No one answered. She had not expected anyone to.
⁂
By morning the tide had taken the causeway, and Mara was alone with the house.

Sarah found the exact chapter where my readers were losing interest and showed me how to fix it. My book finally feels finished.
The formatting was flawless. KDP and IngramSpark accepted my files the first time, and the paperback looks beautiful.
I was stuck at 40,000 words for a year. One report and one call later, I finished the draft in eight weeks.
I have loved books for as long as I can remember: the late nights, the characters who stay with you, the endings you think about for weeks. Sarahpages exists so that more authors can give readers that feeling.
Self-publishing gives you freedom, but it can feel lonely. You deserve someone who takes your story as seriously as you do, tells you the truth kindly, and helps you fix what is not working yet. That is what I do, from first read to final file.
